Princess F55 Flybridge

We were thrilled to introduce a brand new motor boat into the South Coast Charter market in 2023. With a price tag of nearly £2 million this is one of the most luxurious boats available for charter in the Solent. Built-in Plymouth the F55 has a worldwide reputation and is perfectly sized for the Solent. Large enough to be comfortable but still able to visit all areas. Seakeeper 9 gyro stabilisation has been fitted as an option and this, combined with the hull design ensures guests remain comfortable at all times whether at anchor or underway. We can also take advantage of the stabilisation and hull design to offer environmentally friendly full displacement charters meaning corporate climate commitments need not be compromised. Should the need arise we do have a top speed in excess of 30 knots. Full climate control takes the heat out of a sunny day or ensures warmth when there is a bit of a chill in the air.

Fresh water flush bathrooms, natural finishes and materials, bags of space both inside and outdoors means groups of up to 12 people enjoy comfort and luxury regardless of the weather – why settle for anything less? Photos taken March 2023

The separate raised dining area allows you to enjoy your surroundings when underway whilst keeping comfortable. This combined with the saloon seating offers air conditioning or heating when required.

The aft cockpit can be configured to either indoor or outdoor living subject to prevailing conditions and the flybridge upper deck provides a full on wind in your hair experience when underway. At anchor or slow displacement speed it allows you to fully take in the surrounding view.

The general feeling of the boat is one of refined opulence. Natural timber with high gloss finishes, luxurious designer fabrics, leather detailing and teak flooring all combine to provide the perfect back drop for you to relax and enjoy life. Princess are a highly respected British boat builder producing vessels up to 40 metres in length. They form part of the luxury LVMH, Moët Hennessay Louis Vuitton group.

Facilities on board are extensive with many optional extras fitted to enhance your charter experience. Powerful twin 715hp Caterpillar C12 engines produce a top speed in excess of 30 knots with a comfortable cruising in the mid 20 knots. The boat’s size and design ensures a more smooth and stable ride when compared to smaller vessels.

Mains electrical power is provided by an 11kw whisper quiet Onan generator and there is a shore power hook up when berthed. Climate is controlled by a triple unit air conditioning system which can also provide warm air during the cooler months.

The two bathrooms feature fresh water flush single touch electric toilets which are a huge upgrade on the typical marine “heads” found on most boats. Hot and cold Grohe mixer taps, luxury toiletries and soft towels complete the picture. The toilets incorporate a holding tank system allowing them to be used at all times including when in port. The forward bathroom also functions as a day toilet and serves the third cabin. There is a single berth crew cabin aft with its own separate bathroom.

The kitchen features a ceramic hob, microwave / convection oven, full sized fridge-freezer and ample storage. There is a drinks refrigerator and cocktail cabinet in the saloon with a separate ice maker. The flybridge features a large drinks chiller.

The impressive full beam master and forward VIP cabins have en-suite bathrooms featuring a hot shower, vanity sink, electric freshwater flushing toilet, teak flooring, high gloss cherry woodwork, air extraction and large storage areas.

Outside there are several areas to enjoy. Walking through the saloon patio doors takes you to a teak soled cockpit area with seating . The flybridge extends over the cockpit to provide a roof and removable covers allow the area to be either enclosed or open sided.

Teak steps lead up from the cockpit to a large flybridge with seating and sunbathing cushions. A bimini cover provides shade or protection from light rain showers.

The boat is fully coded to MCA standards allowing it to be used for charter work and is commercially registered in the UK.
